Are North Koreans and Christians believing the same deception?

The following link tells of a North Korean defector’s belief of the Godliness of North Korean leaders:

I can’t help but draw a parallel from this story to the acceptance of Jesus as God by most Christians.  If people can be deceived to think one of the most oppressive leaders in the world is Godly when that is far from the truth, wouldn’t it stand to reason that belief that Jesus is God could be a similar deception?

Something to think about.

    Irony in early Christianity.

One of the earliest doctrines of heresy in Christianity denied Jesus’ humanity (Gnosticism). They believed, like the orthodox believers, that Jesus was fully divine, however they also believed his physical (human) body to be an illusion.

2000 years later the orthodox believers are defending the divinity of Jesus before people who only acknowledge his humanity.
